Michael Chanover is an award-winning multidisciplinary product leader, designer, researcher, and strategist in San Francisco, California.

Michael is currently the Vice President of Design & User Experience at Shopkick, the leading mobile commerce and loyalty platform. Michael has served as Chief Creative Officer at fingerprint, an educational mobile platform and Vice President of Product for the Alsop-Louie portfolio company, Kidlandia. Prior to Kidlandia, Michael was Global Creative Director of Web & Brand at the educational toy company, LeapFrog Enterprises, where he directed products and programs that converge user experience, brand, strategy, Web, and print technologies. Michael spent four years in the San Francisco and New York offices of frogdesign, as Executive Producer and General Manager.

Michael was the recipient of the UNESCO Design for Rehabilitation Award and has lectured, written, and taught on the subject of strategic design. Michael holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and teaching positions at the California College of the Arts and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Michael's recent piece titled TOY Toy toy, a collaboration with Tim Belonax, won the Print Magazine Regional Design Award.
